The Delta Episode is a new story that begins immediately after becoming the Pokemon League Champion in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

You'll begin this story in Littleroot Town. Walk downstairs to find your parents talking about an upcoming meteor shower event. Your father, Norman, will give you a Pair of Tickets to watch this event at the Space Center in Mossdeep City.

Exit out of your house and ask with your friend Brendan/May if they want to go. Remember, their house is the one on the opposite side of yours. They will tell you someone stole their Key Stone! Your only clue is that the thief went to Petalburg City. Head over there now.

When you arrive in Petalburg, head over to Wally's house in the northwest. You'll see either Team Aqua's or Team Magma's Admin trying to steal Wally's Key Stone.

Aqua Admin Matt – P5,300[edit]

After the battle, you will get a call from Steven. Fly over to Rustboro City and walk over to the Devon Corporation. Steven will take you to his father, and you will get your next mission.

Fly over to the Granite Cave near Dewford Town. Go through the door on the north wall to find Zinnia. She will challenge you to a Pokemon battle.

Pokemon Trainer Zinnia – P5,700[edit]

After defeating Zinnia, she will give you the Meteorite Shard you originally came here for. Your next stop is Mossdeep.

Fly over to the Space Center in Mossdeep City. Steven is up on the second floor. After a lengthy cut scene, you'll have your next mission. You need to find a pure meteorite shard in Meteor Falls.

Find Steven at the very top of Meteor Falls. You'll need a Pokemon with Surf and Waterfall to ascend to the top of the waterfall near the entrance. Take the first ladder in the back room, follow the path to the northwest to another ladder, and then climb up the staircases to reach the highest point of Meteor Falls. Steven and an old woman will have a long conversation. Once that's done with, fly back to Rustboro.

Your next destination is the Devon Corporation in Rustboro City. A researcher will run out of the building, and three Team Aqua/Magma Grunts will come out and challenge you to a few single battles.

After the battles, fly over to the Space Center in Mossdeep City again. Five Team Aqua/Magma Grunts will challenge you to a horde battle.

You can quickly defeat the five grunts using a move that can hit all five Pokemon at once. A simple example is Surf. After the battle, walk up to the second floor. Steven and yourself will face the Team Aqua/Magma Admin and a Team Aqua/Magma Grunt.

With the grunt and Admin out of the way, a short scene will play out. Your next destination will be either Team Aqua's or Team Magma's base, depending on which version you're playing. Remember, the base is located on the east beach of Lilycove City.

Once you reach the Team Aqua Hideout or Team Magma Hideout, use the warp pads to find the Team's Admin. He is located in the same room the Master Ball originally was. You can use the same walkthroughs on the Team Aqua Hideout and Team Magma Hideout pages from earlier to navigate through the base. All the grunts will challenge you to Pokemon battles again, but their Pokemon will be stronger than before.

Once you reach the Admin and Zinnia, another small scene will play out. If you're playing Omega Ruby, you'll obtain the Cameruptite. If you're playing Alpha Sapphire, you'll obtain the Sharpedonite.

With that taken care of, exit out of the base and fly back to the Space Center in Mossdeep City. Speak to Steven to get your next objective.

Fly over to the Cave of Origin in Sootopolis City and speak with Wallace. He'll tell you about Sky Pillar, which is your next destination. Before going, make sure you stock up on items, mainly Ultra Balls and Timer Balls.

When you're ready to go, travel to Sky Pillar. This tower is located on the north side of Route 131. Wallace will break the seal for you, then challenge you to a Pokemon battle.

Sootopolitan Wallace – P6,840[edit]

Sky Pillar is a multi-level building that can be found to the north of Route 131. It can only be accessed near the end of The Delta Episode.

Zinnia will stop you near the entrance and tell you the first chapter of an ancient story. Before climbing the nearby ladder, walk to the north side of the room and climb up a different ladder to a Dragon Scale.

Return to the first ladder and climb up to next floor. Walk towards Zinnia to hear the next chapter.

After the next chapter, climb up the nearby ladder and hear Zinnia tell another chapter of the ancient story.

Climb up the next ladder and walk around the triangular floor. At the west side of this floor is a hidden Full Restore. It's hidden because the floor above will block the camera's view at most angles. Continue towards Zinnia to hear the next chapter.

Ascend to the next floor to find Zinnia. She will tell you the final chapter of the story. Before climbing up the ladder to the south, climb down several ladders to the west. This will take you to . With that in hand, climb to the top of Sky Pillar.

A long scene will play out. Once it's done, save your game and interact with the Legendary PokemonRayquaza. Like Groudon and Kyogre, capturing this legend won't be as tough as some of the other legends hidden around Hoenn.

If you don't have an extra slot in your party, you must send a Pokemon to the storage system to make room for the newly captured Rayquaza. Zinnia will teach this Pokemon a brand new attack called Dragon Ascent. It will take the place of Rayquaza's Fly attack. She will then challenge you to a Pokemon battle!

Lorekeeper Zinnia – P6,200[edit]

After the battle, you will fly towards the incoming meteoroid on the back of Rayquaza.
