1. PGP Tool for Windows 10. The Download Now link directs you to the Windows Store, where you can continue the download process. Available for Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile (x86, x64, ARM).

1. The steps below will tell you how to install Symantec Encryption Desktop. If you already have it installed, follow these same steps so that you can install a newer version on top of your old version.
   
2. Download the Symantec Encryption Desktop installer from Google Drive for Wellesley College.
   • For Windows 7/10 64bit computers, download this installer.
   • For Windows XP 32bit computers, download this installer.
   • You will need to login to your Domain Account to download.
   • Google will say that the file can't be scanned for viruses, but click Download Anyway to download the installer.
     
3. After downloading the proper installer, double-click the file to start.
   • If you are asked if you want to run the file, Click Yes.
     
4. Symantec Encryption Desktop will run through its install process.
   1. Select Accept the License Agreement and click Next .
   2. Select Do not display the Release Notes and click Next .
   3. If you are asked to Allow the program, click Allow .
   4. You will be asked to restart your computer, click Yes , and the computer will restart.
   5. The restart process may take several minutes and appear to have stopped at the Windows startup logo or a black screen with a cursor. DO NOT interrupt this process! If it takes more than 15 minutes, please contact the Help Desk.
      
5. After logging in to the computer, a Symantec Encryption Desktop login window will appear.
   • Type in your Wellesley Domain username and password and click OK.
     
6. A Symantec Encryption Setup Assistant window will appear.
   • If you have previously used PGP or Symantec Encryption Desktop at Wellesley, choose 'I have used Symantec Encryption before and I have existing keys', and then log in using your PGP / Symantec passphrase. This passphrase could either be a unique password you created, or your Domain password. If you can't login, please contact the Help Desk.
   • If you haven't used PGP or Symantec Encryption Desktop at Wellesley before, you will be prompted to create a passphrase (use your Domain Account password), and create five security questions.
     
7. You should now see a gray lock icon in the notification area on thebottom right side of the Windows taskbar, and a PGP Shredder shortcut will appear on your Windows Desktop.
   
8. You may now review the information on PGP Shredder to securely delete files, or Whole Disk Encryption to securely encrypt your computer.
